At the heart of this new chapter is “Septimius The Great: A Dream Without Fear,” his deeply personal memoir launching in eBook, paperback, and full corlor hardback on Sept. 8.
More than a look back at his career, the memoir takes readers behind the name and explores identity, adversity, perseverance, self-belief and the courage required to pursue a dream when no blueprint exists. The story traces his evolution from Marlowe Simms into Septimius The Great and the experiences that shaped the artist and entrepreneur he would become.

Expanding his presence behind the scenes, Septimius serves as an executive producer of “Laughing With a Legend: D.L. Hughley in Conversation With Septimius The Great,” a newly released comedy album and conversation project featuring legendary comedian and cultural commentator D.L. Hughley.
The project explores the stories, experiences and perspective behind Hughley’s celebrated stand-up career while further establishing Septimius as a creative force beyond music and performance.
The collaboration follows Septimius’ Grammy Award-winning work connected to Kabaka Pyramid’s “The Kalling,” which won Best Reggae Album at the 2023 Grammy Awards, along with additional Grammy-nominated collaborations throughout his career.
