Last year, the Curve Lake First Nation Council approved a resolution to phase out traditional septic beds, which consume valuable land and provide limited filtration. The community is instead adopting modern, energy-efficient wastewater treatment systems that serve multiple households, protect groundwater, and support long-term water security.
